1. I fiddle with the edge of the pillow case each night before I get to sleep because amazingly that gets me drifting to lala-land effectively (right now, I feel like sleeping too...zzzz)
2. You never know, but I like to hit ondre's butts!! I think he looks really good with a big ass =)
3. I'd like people to think I am a smelly ah lian (chao ah lian) because that way I'd be seen as a "no pushover"
4. I am a perfectionist but the effect of laziness overcomes the power of perfectionism, therefore resulting in slip-shodness
5. I like insulting people whom I dislike to a large extent. It makes me feel really satisfied (okay, I know that seems a bit sadistic)
6. I like to sleep with my fan turned on even though the air-conditioner is on and even though the temperature of the night is 8 degrees celcius

This is tougher than my chemistry lab report I swear! Speaking of which, I haven't really completed the report and I'm already feeling very very sleepy, I think I want to take a nap. Should I? Okay, I should, off I go!

Yes I know, you must be thinking why I'm not sleeping in this wee hours of the morning or night or whatever. It's wee hours anyway. It's around 8 degrees celcius right now outside and the rain has just stopped and I'm happily using the net in the computer laboratory.

So, back to the topic. I'm still up at this time because my friend will be leaving for melbourne at 4.30 so we all thought we might as well give up our sleep and send her off (to the bus only) when it's time! Cup noodles for supper, what could be better!?

Anyway, timetable was released today. Major relief, my last paper is on the 22nd June. Bad news, there might be no tickets back to silly!! Nooooo....I want my laksa treat from the ape! I will brave through all weathers to go back! So, yeah, because it's 3.55am right now, my brain can't really function that well. Shall blog again soon...maybe?

Note: Blogger has been very very uncooperative. I was blogging earlier this morning without the toolbar present and I published the entry only to my knowledge that it wasn’t present. Kindly tell me how to solve this issue. The toolbar was unwilling to appear and now I have to resort to using Microsoft words to type out an entry. Hope it works though >.<

Hohoho! I thought it had be better for me to blog an entry before apes come charging at me with her troops, geraldine screaming at me in my ears, mother mooey trampling over me, katherine hurling abuse at me and fuei fong threatening me. *gasps* I have that much enemies!!! *screams and run away* Approximately 50 more minutes to the next lesson so I thought I had better hurry up and complete this entry before time runs out.

我翻开着日记本，发现有很多东西想写写，可是不知道要从哪里说起。。。
网上日记也一样，想说的事太多太多，可是却又怕被不该看得人都给看到了，
做人可能就是这样累吧。
刚刚在一个老师的网上看到了以前同学的留言。
或许对一个老师而言，鼓励学生是他们必备的责任，可是对我而言，这种鼓励却是那麽的珍贵。
一句话或许没能改变什麽，可是同样的一句话却能改变一个人的想法。
老师对我们是那麽的期待，期待着我们成功，期待着我们为梦想而努力。
现在换我去努力了，朋友们，你们会支持我吗？

我发现到最近的entry都很消沉的感觉，我们来聊一些快乐一点的事吧。
这个学期也快结束了，过不久我就能回到我那可爱的家了，跟可爱的你们一起见面，聊天，吃东西。好期待那一天的到来！下一个学期，我就会开始考个驾驶执照，希望在年底之前可是考到。一直以来和朋友们一起去吃夜宵的梦想也可以达成了！在七月二十五号，我也将有一个决定我明年命运的考试，虽然也没什麽需要准备的，可是大概也会很紧张吧。好了朋友们，祝我好运吧！希望可以一鸣惊人了！

最熟悉的陌生人

Note: Sorry for the late updates. Was in Hobart from last Wednesday till Sunday and afterwhich was rushing of assignments. Apparently, they are still very much undone. -.- Don't ask me what I have been doing after coming back from Hobart, I hardly know myself.

It's sad to know maybe things are not the same anymore...

Anyway, updates on Hobart. Actually I did nothing much but gobbled food the whole day. First day was the drive to Hobart and visit of the Woolmers Garden which was filled with roses literally. Second day was the trip around Tasman island by boat followed by Tasmanian Devil park visit. Third day was the drive back to Launceston and visiting the seahorses as well as platypus. Fourth day was home sweet home for parents and hostel smelly hostel for me. Oh well, I'm tired, I'll get the pictures to do the talking.

Phantom of the Opera

Note: Just a random thought. I wonder if anyone knows what happens when you click on the "Peiyun" link on the left...
My last entry have got quite a few comments from friends stating that my Chinese is really okay. Well, at least well enough to come up with an entry solely in Chinese. Haha! Ape can't go on insulting my Chinese standard anymore because I'm pretty good at it! *throws a big L sign at ape* LOSER!

As some of you might already know, I am obsessed with Phantom of the Opera, ever since I watched the musical (Sarah Brightman was Christine then) on the telly, donkey years back (6-7 years?). When they announced their tour to Singapore, I was over the moon, Sun and Earth! Then, they have to start only when I'm in Tasmania. Zzzzz...major dream dasher. I was still thinking of getting a box seat to pamper myself, like you know sipping wine while watching the performance. It was till last week when Dad called up and say he might not be able to come to Tasmania and was wondering if I would like to go back for Easter and he will throw in a Phantom box seat ticket with the deal. How tempting indeed. However, I kindly rejected because I reckon heading back home would mean that my soul will just get stuck at Katong Laksa 138 stall and will not want to get back here. That's how much I love the laksa there. I was really bored after Dad hung up and I went over to check the official Phantom of the Opera's website...


Okay, that was a very bad Primary school kid trying to start her essay composition. (Yes, I have an inner child in me but no you can't know it even when you see me) Main point is...Phantom is coming to Melbourne!

Aren't you feeling so happy for me? The dream can be fulfilled soon! (well, not that soon though since the first show is on 19th July but it will be within this year) I shouldn't be extremely happy since they are not even holding their show here in Tasmania. But, the fact is that Tasmania isn't very far from Melbourne, (well, not very near though, not as if I can swim across the Bass Strait) just a weeny 1 hour flight away and my smello piggo have already offered to put me up at her place and watch the show with me! How great is that!? I can't wait for the day to come.

My Loveliest

Note: Can somebody explain to me why there isn't an auto-saving function in blogger like say, every 30 seconds since they are already using Gmail accounts for signing in!? I'm slightly delirious now! For the past one and a half hours, I've been conscientiously blogging in chinese and now it's all gone! As you guys know, I'm not very good in Chinese (because of the weak foundation, right Peiyun?) and blogger have to do this to me! 神啊，救救我吧！I'll try to recall what I wrote but I can't guarantee it will express the same feeling because my mood is all gone! By the way, daylight savings end officially on 25th March so I'll just be a two hours apart from home! Sambal kangkong anyone?

原来我是那麽的依赖着朋友，依赖着他们的关怀，依赖着他们的照顾。自己也没发现到这一点，只是刚来的时候，心里总是空空的。每次遇到挫折的时候，朋友都会说着：“没关系，有我在阿。”心里的深处一直不肯接受这个事实可是大概现在也需要学着长大了。

难过的时候有朋友的安慰，开心的时候有朋友来分享，做错事的时候有朋友对我说:“没关系，每个人都会做错事”然后再叫我振作起来，做白日梦的时候也有朋友把我从梦境拉回现实来。这种感觉不知道以后还会是一样的吗？

他们的关怀总是让我觉得格外的安心。过马路的时候有人帮忙看车，牵着我过马路。还记得曼谷之旅途中发生了一些小插曲，可是我并不需要感到害怕，因为我知道身旁的朋友都会保护着我。迟来的毕业旅行让我发现到这些朋友对我来说有多麽的重要。不知不觉我也把这一切当成是理所当然的，觉得有这样一群好朋友也是理所当然的。

出发的当天，朋友送来了一份小小的礼物。礼物虽小，涵义却很深，让我非常地感动。有些事并不需要说出来，我们都能明白。后来他们也寄来了一份包裹。等待着包裹的心情并不完全是因为里头的内容而是有一种说不出的感觉，是知道有人在乎，有人关心。

还记得几年前有个连续剧的主题曲是这样唱着的：“。。。你要学着自己擦干泪滴，懂得如何跌倒再爬起，像那幼苗不怕风和雨，从不轻易放弃。。。”大概就是这样吧，要开始学着长大了，因为在这里，没有人能让我依赖了。一直以来不是很在乎的事情现在却变得很重要，人应该都是这样的吧。可是我很庆幸自己拥有了一群那样好的朋友。或许孤单并不可怕，可怕的是孤单的当而没有一群真心的朋友支持你。

Happy one month Tassi-versary

Yes! I have been here for a month and still alive and kicking! The past one month have been most eventful and let's hope it not continue that way because it can be pretty nerve-wrecking. Blogger is seriously not being very cooperative now so my dear comrades, do pardon me if I publish this a few days later. Meanwhile, I shall do a bit of updates on my life.

Just a quick note before I start. My cell number have been removed from the previous entry (reason is stated there). In any case if you need to dial me or text me, please get the number from me. However, the address still remains posted because passerbys can't possibly send anthrax to me without knowing my name! Ha!

The past one month hasn't been a bed of roses and just this morning, the silly fire alarm jolted my soul out of me and pulled me out of bed and into the meeting area without my slippers on. Apparently, some lovely neighbour decided she was too bored and started burning incense (note: should be some aromatherapy thingy). She might be a devout taoist for all we know since coincidentally her first name is Nun. What happens next you should have gotten it. False alarm! I have been super moody since morning because of the sudden shrills coming from the alarm. They should play music instead to warn people.

Just two days ago, while working on my Statistics assignment, Excel decides to be a jerk and die on me. What happens first was it shutting itself down and on attempts to reopen the programme, this popped up:

Great! Like who brings their installation discs out when they are schooling overseas. As such, I consulted my geeky brother who gave me a resolution via a website instructions which deals with the SKU011.CAB issue. It did helped of course (at least for a while).

Lo and behold! This popped up the second time round. Google was there to help of course. I typed in "how to solve error 1311 on microsoft office" and up came popping this website. Well, I wouldn't say it didn't work but just a few popups after that which can be closed easily without having to shut excel down. So case solved and assignment done.

Selemat Tengah Hari!

As an effort to keep up with two of my lovelies back in sunny Singapore who are taking conversational Malay, I shall, on my part, greet in Malay as well.

Blogger is finally up and running without disallowing me to sign in. I seriously have some problem with the growing technology since the day I reached Tasmania. I'm seriously thinking that my computer wants to go on a long break (Fat hope!).

Oh joy! Oh rapture! I've finally received the 花样少年少女 part 3 dvds yesterday! Compliments from mother mooey and the ape! To top it off, they actually send a book along with the dvd and a letter from apey. Boy, am I touched.

I've been trying to take a few snapshots of the local town but everytime when I'm there, it's either I'm too lazy to take pictures or I simply forget about it and just happily hop on the bus back to home. Anyway, I'm off to collect my bedsheets and blankets before going off for my last lesson of the day.

Dormitory life

Trust me when I say I have the best life now! Nobody can hear crazy people running along the corridors in the middle of the night at 2am, incessant knockings on doors and drunkards puking right outside your window. Great isn't it?

Of course that doesn't include my lovely neighbour (downstairs) who invites people to his room for partying session, blasting loud bang bang music and hitting the ceiling. (for god knows what reason! He's prolly trying hang his clothes with a bamboo but was unable to balance and hence the result) And yeah! How can we possibly forget those people who constantly slams the door at anytime of the day. Hohoho, how interesting can my life be?

P.S: If at any point of a time you can't sense the sarcasm in the above entry, I'd suggest you reading your Enid Blyton series and stop wasting your time here.

Of course the assignments continue streaming in. Pardon me my friends, I'm suffering a headache right now, shall blog again tomorrow.

Updates

A little updates before ape comes charging to Tasmania with her battalion of monkeys. (note: battalion is used cause they kill!) Of course, I wouldn't want to put my life in jeopardy at this moment so I shall comply with her wishes.

Was down at Unibar last night together with Vanez and a hall-mate (Jessie). We shared a jug of the local brew (J. Boag's & Son) and it was pretty good I would say. What could possibly be better than chilling sessions. "Tortilla chips please!". Apparently there was a live band performance down at the hall bar yesterday but we give it a miss due to the large crowd present.

Lessons have started and assignments are streaming in. The internet access is still pretty slow but thank god I can still talk on msn without much disruptions.

Kindda miss home and my dog right now. Dad called this morning and put on the speakers so that I could talk to Ondre. I shouted for him and apparently dad claims that he was wagging his tail incessantly (Ondre, not my dad) and sniffed really hard to sense for my presence. Sorry doggie, I'm in tassy now, you can't possibly smell me.

很想家。 可是很不愿意把这句话说出来。
虽然爸爸三天两头的都会打电话来，可是每次一听到家人的声音都会忍不住流下眼泪。
很没用是吧?
可是我也没有后悔过, 因为知道这得来不易。
